Gohan didn't know it was an illusion, all he knew was this woman had came in and attacked his friends and seemed to have killed Bulma. And for what? A round about lesson? He should have known better then to trust someone and give the benefit of the doubt of a person he couldn't even sense was a good person or not or wasn't crazy.

Grief soon turned to rage. He was going to kill her.

With a roar of rage, a bright golden light exploded into the room blinding everyone present as his power spiked not only because of the transformation but his emotional state. He was on Kurie in a instant, moving too fast for them to even track as he attacked her viciously from different angles, he was done playing

Kurie had expected this. It was why she had prepared a Master level spell before hand while she was talking. 'Dragonhide' took time to cast, but it's usefulness was undeniable. The fact that it completely negated a good 80% of all physical damage was incredibly important right now. Kurie knew damn well that if Gohan was going all out, she stood no chance. She knew a little about this 'Super Saiyan' transformation. Not a lot, but she'd learned of the power boost, and that was enough.

As it was, it was still painful to get kicked around like this. Not that she minded. Her point had gotten across, and she was getting her own punishment for her failure, in a roundabout way. It was win-win for her. As things progressed, she started casting quick-cast spells to ward herself from damage further, as well as heal what damage was already there. As 'Dragonhide' neared it's end, however, she knew she needed to end this soon.

Gohan was entirely focused on the fight but he wasn't going to drag it out more then needed, he was just going to end it and hopefully, by some miracle Vargus was still alive at least even if he had failed Bulma and her unborn child.

So when he slammed her on the ground this time to keep them in place, he began charging up his energy to finish them off as his aura flared again, but he made sure to condense it down. Z-fighters even the lower ones had very good Ki control which is why they didn't blow up the planet, or stars and above for the stronger ones.

'Well, at least he makes it a point to end things quickly I suppose.' Kurie sighed a bit. As much as she may wish to die, she wasn't going to leave Cassandra and Reizo like this. She slowly sat up, even as she gathered her magic for a spell. It wouldn't last long, but it would last just long enough. Before Gohan could use his charged energy, wave of magic erupted from her body. A wave of calm washed over everyone, pacifying them for the moment. Gohan would not be affected as greatly, but all it needed to do was calm his rage just enough, as Kurie dispelled the illusion. Gohan would suddenly hear the unmistakable sounds of a very angry Bulma, and see that she was perfectly fine.

Gohan blinked, the calm and Bulma's trademark irate tone snapping him out of his anger enough for him to stop with his attack. Not just Bulma, but Vargus were both fine. "Bulma..Vargus..you guys are okay?"

The older woman stopped what she was doing, confused as Gohan. "Of course I'm okay,l I should be asking you."

This worried Gohan, he hoped he wasn't losing his mind. He heard people in wars could see and hear things that weren't there due to some things triggering dramatic flash backs. He was hoping something along those lines wasn't happening to him. But part of him doubted it, it felt all too real so Kurie probably had something to do with it. "..What did you just do?"

Kurie forced herself to her feet, wincing slightly as the damage Gohan had done to her started to really get to her. "I subjected you to an illusion. I made you believe I had harmed your friends, in order to force you to stop holding back. And I don't mean holding back consciously. You have far more power within you than you realize, and you need to tap into that power if you wish to have any hope of succeeding against the androids." She started to limp over toward Gohan, as she sheathed her sword.

"I needed you to understand that, if you do not overcome these subconscious limits that you impose on yourself, that people you care for will die. I'm sorry for putting you through that, but... in all likelihood, the lives of Cassandra and Reizo, and your friends as well, depend on you living up to your potential, and helping them live up to theirs. I needed you to get the point, even if it makes you hate me now." She paused for a moment. "...Though I will not lie to you... part of it was selfish on my part. I wanted to be punished for my failure to protect Miki as well... and part of me wanted to let you kill me, though I know that doing so would have only hurt Cassandra and Reizo." She looked toward the ground, then continued on, moving to limp around Gohan, and out of the room, speaking as she went.

"Don't worry, I will stay out of your way if you wish it... and if you wish to take out your anger on me, then I am alright with that as well."

After the explanation and Kurie limping away, all of Gohan's anger faded within that moment. Instead it was something else mixed with a world weariness that was too much for someone so young. He moved over to Kurie. "There isn't any point in hating you or hurting you anymore. I don't like how you handled things, but you have a point. You can still stay here. I'm really sorry for hurting you that badly. Do you need to be looked at?" He was already concerned after being enraged at them merely moments ago and seemingly not holding onto an grudge; he really was too kind for his own good at times.

"We'll, geez. At least we know Gohan didn't start losing his mind. I was worried he was having some type of PTSD attack since he normally doesn't attack like that. If Gohan isn't still mad, I I'm not going to hold it against you." Bulma had been worried but she was glad it was due to something else. Don't get her wrong, she didn't like what Kurie had done but she could see the use of having them around. If nothing else, all the death and everything else had done a good job of changing her perspective of some things.

Kurie seemed surprised that Gohan was actually concerned with her well being. "...No, I'll be alright... nothing is broken, as I used magic to reinforce my body. I'll be okay... can someone show me to the room that I will be sharing with Cassandra and Reizo? I'd like to rest a bit before they finish eating. I know they will likely wake me up when they see I've been in a fight, so I'd like to get a bit of sleep before then..."
